Born and raised on a farm just outside the small northern community of Fort St. John, becoming a hairstylist, or salon owner was never on my radar growing up. While I wasn’t your average country bumpkin either, I grew up with an equal love for both the farm and outdoors, as well, fashion and beauty. My career in hairstyling started in 2012. I had the opportunity to complete my training during my 12th grade year of high school. I went on to apprentice in two different salons, completing my ITA Certificate of Cosmetology in 2015. Shortly after, I opened my own little salon, Energetic Beauty. Becoming my own boss has given me the creative freedom to handpick brands and products that I believe to be the best of my industry, allowing me to provide consistent, high quality services. Running a business has its challenges, but I’ve never looked back! Over the years I’ve made continuing education a top priority! Wether it’s a new foiling technique, extension method or styling trend, I take as many classes as I can. It’s never a dull minute in my chair! While I love all things blonde, getting to know so many incredible people and build lasting friendships is the most fulfilling part of my job!
